The Vision Stick UTD system module
pictured has a flat paddle, which is intended to slide under a
door to view what is on the other side. The system plugs into
the monitor power supply. A handle is supplied with the system,
which allows controlling the system while standing.
The Vision Stick UTD system has a 95° field of view which
is off set 30° from the floor which allows viewing the whole
room, including beside the door because of its long paddle. The
paddle has been left a matte silver cover, since it is less obvious
than black against most surfaces and tends to pick up the color
of surrounding areas helping it avoid detection of use.
