MODELS :: Color Right Angle Viewing System
At the request of many customers who required a dual system, we experimented with special cameras that switch from color to infrared — and discovered one major flaw: they compromised both the IR and the color capabilities. We explored electromechanical movement but rejected the idea because of the risk of extreme mechanical shock. The Vision Stick solution was to install the best camera systems for the color and the IR together in a single head of the same diameter as
our standard systems. The result is a highly sensitive IR system that is forward looking coupled with a high quality color system that is side viewing. A switch on the bottom controls the function between the two. A protective cover protects the side viewing color camera and light source, and ensures that visible illumination is not present should the system be activated accidentally.
