System
Many systems have overlooked power articulation, which is a great
convenience in most applications. The Vision Stick
Power Articulation system features:
• Smooth continuous movement, in contrast to some systems
that advance in jumps.
• Silent operation.
• Simple indicator that shows when the probe is centered.
Some systems have a display built into the monitor that actually
positions itself on pulses of its advancement mechanism, and can
get out of sync with the real world. The Vision Stick System uses
a magnetic sensor that senses the actual probe position.
• Breakaway type slip clutch that reliably positions the
camera head but will breakaway when the probe is forced or articulated
against an object or surface. This protects the mechanism from
breakage, and ensures that the probe can be used manually if
the power system fails. Without such protection, the probe,
if forced, can be damaged.
